كانت شركة اوراسكوم قامت برفع دعوى ضد شركة فرانس تليكوم امام محكمة التحكيم الدولية بغرفة التجارة الدولية بشأن فض النزاع القائم بين الطرفين الناشئ عن تنفيذ اتفاقية حملة الاسهم المؤرخة في 29 من اغسطس 2001. وقد اتفق الطرفان على ان يقوم 3 محكمين بالفصل في النزاع القائم وتحديد قرارهم.
وكان اتفاق حملة الاسهم المؤرخ في 29 من اغسطس 2001 بين كل من اوراسكوم تليكوم وبين شركة فرانس تليكوم فيما يحكم العلاقة بين الشركتين والذي ينص على امتلاك شركة موبينيل للاتصالات على 51% من اجمالي اسهم الشركة المصرية لخدمات التلفون المحمول.
وتصل نسبة الاسهم المملوكة لشركة فرانس تليكوم غير المباشرة من اجمالي اسهم شركة موبينيل للاتصالات الى 71.25% وذلك من خلال الشركتين البلجيكيتين التابعتين لها وهما شركة ويرفري وشركة اطلس
تم اليوم بيع شركة موبينيل للاتصالات إلى شركة فرانس تيليكوم بمبلغ مليار و700 مليون دولار.
تمت الصفقة بناءً على قرار صادر عن محكمة التحكيم الدولية بغرفة التجارة الدولية بباريس، باعت بمقتضاه شركة موبينيل كل أسهمها إلى شركة فرانس تيليكوم، بسعر 273.26 جنيه "49 دولارا" للسهم الواحد
